about Us
Healthy Village, Educated Village, Prosperous Village
In India, you will find more rural areas than in any other country, and hence it is a country of villages. Even
today more than 60% of the population consists of and lives in villages, which is why post-independence,
Gandhiji, the father of our nation gave a call, ”Let’s move to villages.” for the development of our e country
for it is in the village, one can live a sustainable and self-reliant life. Thus, he often talked about having
prosperous and self-sufficient villages in society
One must understand that a country like India can prosper only when its villages are self-sufficient and self-reliant. Hence, importance must be placed on achieving the same. A lot of problems have crept in since the emergence of towns and cities giving rise to rapid urbanization one of the major problems faced is that a lot of people have migrated to cities in search of development as most villages are underdeveloped. Once the villages are developed in terms of self-reliance and are made more sufficient, people will stop migrating to cities and will focus on achieving greater results for their local communities. This will only cause the growth of our nation for future generations, even at a global level, and will solve all the issues faced at the local and rural levels.
Hence in order to achieve the above the “Mera Gaon Mera Swabhiman” has been registered under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2006(Act No. 25 of 2006) on the 24th day of February 2021
